Let Your Dreams Drive You

If you are anything like me, a big part of the reason that you got into a home based business
was to fulfill your dreams. Dreams of wealth & financial freedom. But, as the saying goes....
keep your head in the clouds & your feet on the ground. Your big dreams and big thinking
can be your WHY, but dont forget to do a little HOW. Remember to always be learning, reading
& growing...not only as a business person, but as a whole person. Learn the basics and then
learn the greatest new ways of doing things...but remember the masters...are usually Masters
at doing the basics. Such as: Calling people, inviting people, getting more leads, asking people
to come join (after the invite & presentation).  We dont re-invent the wheel...we simply master

Looking to increase your income? Boost your home based business?
Well...dont keep it a secret! When talking to people, ask them how they like their

Promote w/a Smile

When ever you are giving a presentation or promoting your product, service or opportunity,
do it w/a smile...even if you are on the phone. As you know people can sense how
we are in person and on the phone. Also, smiling actually Makes us Feel better!
So, if we are smiling...we are feeling better, if we are feeling good we present ourselves &
our product better...from a place of strength. Sure, you should also practice and prepare
for presentation and objections...but I think you'll find that the preparation will work better,
you will respond better and be more effective w/a smile in your heart...and on your face.

Build to Events

I just got back from a regional convention w/my primary business opportunity.
Nothing can get you or your team a shot in the arm like attending an event.
Not only do you get tons of great information on how to market,

Follow Your Gut

Sometimes in the Network Marketing business we get caught up in the hype
and miss the opportunities right in front of us. While at the store or out to eat
and the person helping us is especially nice and helpful, do you ever
get the passing or intuitive feeling that You should "Open" them, peak
some curiosity and see if you can get their info to call & prospect them
at a more appropriate time.  For the next 90 days, I suggest that
you...me...We All do this...follow our gut, our intuition. When ever I follow my
intuition things go smoothly, when ever I do not I think back (usualy mad at myself)
and say...I knew better! Or What I shoulda done! Lets not let this happen.

New Year Goals

I hear most people at new years make Resolutions...I havent made resolutions in years.
But I do make goals. Sometimes I even make my goals at the beginning of the year.
Overall, I believe the best way to accomplish something is to start off w/a vision.
Write that Vision down, the big one...a zillion dollars, bigger car, bigger house,
better vacations, etc, etc. Be very specific, how much you want to earn and the
amount of time (a year?). So, by this time next year, I will have accomplished all of these goals.
Then break down the big goal, in to 12 single month goals. If I want to make One Million dollars,
that equals $83,333 per month.  Which is just over $20K per week, $4K per day x days / week.
Now...how many people do you need in your organization to get there? Lets say it's 100, with 20 of them
being producers (80/20 rule).
100 divided by 12 months is 8.3 people per month. 2 people per week. Not too bad.
So...maybe the goal should be to talk to 10 new people per day....60 to 70 per week (depending
if you work 6 or 7 days on this).  These numbers are all examples of course, but you get the idea.
We eat the elephant on little bite at a time.

Give For the Holidays

Now the Holidays are creeping up on us. Remember the more you give, the more you recieve!
We should all be stuffing our own stocking up w/knowledge and skills and then
sharing them with all that will receive. When we have more value (skills & Knowledge)
we are able to give and attract more quality people into our lives and businesses.
What are you learning about today?
What have you given today?
Don't open up w/a hard sale...open w/giving. Everyone likes to be around
givers and people of value.
So...remember to give more....more often and for fun and for Free!

Choose Success

As we are striving to make our business grow and thrive we want the best.
Sometimes we get caught up in the busy work, the non-money making activities
we are cleaning, preparing, learning, navigating, strategizing, organizing...and then
we find we have not done anything that will make us money. A good suggestion is
to compartmentalize & block out time for doing different tasks. Make time for busy work,
but make sure to block out time for Prospecting and dont let anything interfere w/it.
Our success goes where we focus and put our energy. So, where do you want your energy
going? To preparing? Or for Success? Take small bites, work the math backwards.
Say you want to sponsor 10 new people, we will probably have to give a presentation to
at least 100...which sounds like a ton of people. What if you made a goal to spend at least one
hour a day (maybe even 2) and your goal during that hour was to TALK to 2 people....
you can do the math that it would only take you 50 days to talk to 100 people, if you are taking
days off, lets say 2 months. 2 people a day doesnt sound bad at all...does it?
